The first one to be discussed is Australia. It is the only one on its continent and this country has everything you want to see “under one roof”. Visit Sydney and you will enjoy great architecture and its amazing harbor. Among other attractions are Great Barrier Reef, Outback, Queensland, etc. Italy has also been included to the list of top ten countries. It is famous for its cuisine and wines. Did you know that 2/3 of the historical heritage are in Italy. Spain is on the second place. It is very romantic there and the culture is so relaxed…

If we proceed we will see that Thailand is a great place too. Tourists say that the experience is magnificent there. A lot of people has been there and a lot more will go. Five star hotels are close to ancient ruins nd villages and it makes travaler’s experience unforgettable. The United States of America offers everything a person need. History - Boston; unique landmarks - Washington, D.C., Grand Canyon; tropical locations - Hawaii; Gambling - Las Vegas, etc… It will take a lot of time to explore the whole country. You will need a couple of months…

France is the next on the list. Paris is the most famous city. Great landscapes and unique cultures waiting for you in provinces. And Paris itself is the capital of fashion, art, food, etc.

Traveling is exciting. People love it and are ready to spend a lot of money on it. It is always nice to discover something new. Let us continue writing about Belarus and discuss opportunities open to the traveler.

The first thing you see when you come to the country is the airport or railway station. After that you need a taxi or another transport to get to your destination. You should know that prices can be much higher here. You can try to call taxi service and ask about the prices. If you like everything and the price is good, taxi service will provide you with a car. Remember, there are not many people who speak English, especially among taxi drivers… Take a phrasebook with you. People speak Belarusian and Russian here.

As for the place to stay, everything is as usual here. Lots of hotels are at your disposal. It is not a problem to find a room in one of the city’s hotels. The closer you are to the centre of the city, the higher are the prices. But it is better to reserve apartments in advance. Many hotels offer online services. In this case you will be able to compare the hotels and understand what is better for you. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative, keep in mind that apartments for rent in Minsk are also on offer.

Unknown country in the centre of Europe…

Many of you will think that it is simply impossible to be infamous in the centre of Europe. Do you personally know anything about Belarus? Here you go… And this blog will help you to discover new horizons. We will write a couple of posts about Belarus and maybe later switch over to other countries.

We will start with simple things. The capital of the Republic of Belarus (the official name of the country) is Minsk. It is situated in the centre of the republic on the rivers Niamiha and Svislatch. Those who like numbers will be glad to know that the population of the capital is about 1,9 million people. The population of the republic makes up about 9,8 million people. If we go back to history we will see that the earliest references date to 1067.

The history of the country if full of great events and outstanding personalities. The climate is not very comfortable. It is very cold in winter and there are not many sunny days during the year. In spite of that, people are friendly and warm-hearted. Travelers admit that Belarusian women are the most beautiful in Europe! This is one of the main reasons to come to Belarus.

A lot of words can be said about the country… And we will continue in the upcoming articles.
