Many of you will think that it is simply impossible to be infamous in the centre of Europe. Do you personally know anything about Belarus? Here you go… And this blog will help you to discover new horizons. We will write a couple of posts about Belarus and maybe later switch over to other countries.

We will start with simple things. The capital of the Republic of Belarus (the official name of the country) is Minsk. It is situated in the centre of the republic on the rivers Niamiha and Svislatch. Those who like numbers will be glad to know that the population of the capital is about 1,9 million people. The population of the republic makes up about 9,8 million people. If we go back to history we will see that the earliest references date to 1067.

The history of the country if full of great events and outstanding personalities. The climate is not very comfortable. It is very cold in winter and there are not many sunny days during the year. In spite of that, people are friendly and warm-hearted. Travelers admit that Belarusian women are the most beautiful in Europe! This is one of the main reasons to come to Belarus.
